European funding approved!
December 15th, 2011
Eshton has been successful in it’s bid for £3.8 million from the North West European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The ERDF monies have been awarded to help bring forward this important employment site for Burnley and Pennine Lancashire.
The European cash support will enable works to get the brownfield site ready to start the first phase of development, which will include a bridge over the Leeds to Liverpool canal and construction of new business units and serviced development plots.
The 70 acre development is a major regeneration site for Burnley and one of the largest employment sites on the market in Lancashire, which will deliver significant economic benefits.
